COOK-OFF, SUCCESS!

HI ALL! cook-off today was a big success! Cream of Mushroom was super fab. (i know, so thick skinned right?) but i'm not lying! parents and sis finished them up. sam even took two bowls. =D Enoki wrapped with Streaky Bacon prepared Guo Tie-style. so it's seared and then water was added to let the steam cook the Enoki mushrooms inside the Streaky Bacon wrap. Coffee Panna Cotta was a little too sweet. so i have to readjust the amount of sugar the next time i do a Panna Cotta. the recipe for dessert was not a fixed one as it was cut down by agaration from the ZK recipe. so all in all, it was a vast improvement from last week's. next cook-off will be; Tri-coloured Bruchetta - Tomato Salsa (red), Mango Salsa (yellow), Guacamole (avocado mash, green) [inspiration from the tri-colour capsicums] for appetiser, Poached Salmon with Hollandaise sauce/Beurre Blanc (not sure yet) for main and desserts? don't know yet...... zZzZzZzZ. mom's planning to get me a blowtorch so that i can do Creme Brulee at home. =D yippeee! lol. gotta hit the sack soon. gotta be outta house at 8:45am or somewhere then. zzzzzzzz stupid new set menu needa change so many times meh?! mep very easy to do or what. )(*&^%$#@!~
